Unwanted Info & Options

When I move my cursor over an item, say a line, two overlapping squars appear.

If I try to select the line, Information, like "line" or options appear, like "Stretch".

Instead of "E" for "Erase", select Line, Enter, it takes a lot more extra steps before the command is finished.

What is this feature called?

I can't look it up in HELP if I don't know what it's called.

How can I turn it off?

The two squares indicate that Parametric Constraints have been added.  Maybe you have INFER button toggled on, lower left of screen, if showing icons down there then the button will look like the two boxes and cross hairs.

Use DELCONSTRAINT (from command line) or from Ribbon to remove a lot of them quickly.

GRIPMULTIFUNCTIONAL is the setting for the other part, but I would leave that on personally, it gives you quick access to modify the line by stretching or lengthening, as an example.

That depends on which icon the OP was referring to.

This one is for constraints

This one is for Selection Cycling

RK - He had eliminated SC in an earlier post so that is why I guessed Constraints.

Have a good weekend.
