Total length

How Do I find the total length of several objects or separe lines without having to click on each one individually and add them up

I don't think there is anything native in AutoCAD to sum selected lines, but tlen.lsp is the classic solution.

You can try ADDLINES as well.

Hello from France

 

A nice French routine LONGT (from Patrick_35) which runs on all these objects :

"LINE,POLYLINE,LWPOLYLINE,ARC,CIRCLE,ELLIPSE,SPLINE,MLINE,REGION,MPOLYGON"

 

I use it often ...

Save the attachment to your hard drive. Then open the zip file and you should find the lisp file in there.

Technically, there is. You could use the DataExtraction command, but the amount of time it takes just to sum up object lengths is ridiculous.

I've been using your suggestion TLEN forever it seems like. Good one.
