Hi,
So when you use use the Blockedit command and the Block editor opens do you have any of the tools available, such as the Authoring Palette?
Test the Blockedit command in a different AutoCAD profile, do you get the same results?
When in AutoCAD 2012, you can do this as follows:

  1. At the Command Line, type Options
  2. In the Options dialog, select the Profiles tab
  3. In the Profiles tab, select the current profile (there may only be one)
  4. Click "Add to List" (This allows you to make a copy)
  5. Give the copy an unique name and click Apply and Close
  6. Select the newly created profile, Click Set Current
  7. Click Reset
  8. Click Apply
  9. Click OK.

After testing, return to the Options dialog and set the original Profile current. Let me know what happens.

Cheers,
Volker

I wanted to follow-up. Did changing the profile make a difference? Can you give me some feedback that I requested?

Cheers,

Volker
