Tapering Edges

Hi guys,

Can anyone give me any pointers on autocad tapering? I've made a 2d shape, extruded it, and want to taper the edges which I've kind of got. However I want to keep the end edges straight and not tapered. I've attached a picture of what I mean. Imagine boat hull. Where the tapered meets the perpendicular edge I want to go right to the end but keep the end edge at 90 degrees.

Any ideas?

It doesn't look difficult, just difficult to understand from what you have to what you want it to look like.

Hand sketch them out and post the pics.

I found a way to do it with the loft function that works well! Thanks
