Those dwgs will have a random number with an extension of .sv$. All you
have to do is rename it with an extension of .dwg. However, you might
want to give it a "special" name so it doesn't conflict with another dwg.
Do you see the actual extension as part of the filename, such as
"drawing.sv$"? Or do you see only the name "drawing" and the type name
telling you it's an sv$ file?
If you don't see the extension as part of tle filename, Windows may be
hidding the extension - it does this by default and you have to go in and
manually turn off the "Hide extensions of known file types" option.
Otherwise, all you're doing it renaming the file to "drawing.dwg.sv$"
because you're not seeing that last part, and the extension after the last
period in the filename is what counts.
Thanks!! That was the answer I was looking for. I've been having a lot of problems lately with 2010 crashing and my backup doesn't always get saved as often as it should. This will help alot. Thanks again
