stretching to points in dynamic blocks

Is there a way to stretch a line and have it only stretch to certain points within a dynamic block?  I remember seeing/doing this once before, but cant find the commands that suggest the stretch stop at specified points.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Open the Properties palette for the Linear parameter

Value Set > Dist Type > Increment

Attribute tag names should be unique.

I fixed the block for you and it works for the 2x visibilities.  For the 1x, you either create another attribute for them or assign a move action to the existing 2x attribute so that the attribute stays centered.

thanks.  that worked

i have another issue that coming up, maybe you could be of assistance.

I'm creating a visibility block that has a total of 6 options.  It's 2x4, 2x2, and 1x4 rectangles for lights.  the other three options are those, but with an emergency hatch.  Im using three separate attributes for light designations.  they will be shown on two separate options (ex: 2x4 and 2x4 emergency, etc)  I had this work before i add the hatch views.  Now, if i insert the block and pick the 2x4, set a designation to it, sometimes it'll show if i switch that light to an emergency.  If i come back and decide to change it to a 2x2, the designation goes away like it should b/c its associated with the 2x4.  well, my problems comes with me trying to change the attribute to another designation, but i get an error saying no attributes are associated with it.  If i'd chose the 2x2 first, it would work there, but not if i change to another option.  im not sure if this makes sense, but is it possible to have a dynamic block that has a shared attribute within the visibilities?
