Hi,

are you working in plain AutoCAD or has the drawing seen sometimes a vertical product like ACA or Civil3D or ....

What happens if you try command _AUDIT or open the file with command _RECOVER?

What happens if you try to run command _-EXPORTTOAUTOCAD (if this command is available to your AutoCAD)?

The slow save/conversion from AutoCAD2011 to an earlier version is typical and normal.

Hi,

we have to differentiate to what are the times for saving normal and saving back to an old format.

If normal save uses 2 minutes, then saving back may use 3-4 minutes, depending on some settings like SAVEFIDELITY.

If normal save is done within a few seconds, then 3-4 minuts is not usual.
