shutting off/suppressing all popup windows

Hello...

We are trying to set up a standalone copy of Autocad 2012 as a publishing box on a server.  I keeps locking up due to popup windows, like the "About to regen - proceed?" window or the "Use other SHX file" window.

We have REGENMODE set to 1

We have EXPERT set to 5

We have InfoCenterOn set to 0

We have AECFILEOPENMESSAGE set to 0

None of these have worked.

We are trying to shut off and suppress all popup windows either via variables or regedits.

Thank you.

Might want to check the EULA on your implementation before you start addressing any technical issues.  Not to mention, server OS is an unsupported environment.

You probably could benefit from changing your publishing workflows: do you use SSM at all in AutoCAD? There is almost no need for an old-school solution like the one you seek if I understood your intent.

Otherwise you might benefit from acquiring a free or low cost solution viewers that publish designed for what you want from 3rd parties like ProgeCAD, Office Optimum and Bentley to name a few of the dozen out there.
