I have a user that did something to his AutoCAD and his SSM will no show. Ctrl+4 doesnt work, SHEETSET doesnt work, and all other ways to bring up the sheet set manager.
This every happen to anyone before and any way to get it back short of re-install
The missing pallete may be floating off-screen where you can't see it. Try this:
1) Open the CUI
2) Pick the workspace with the missing feature.
3) Highlight the missing feature in the upper left window.
Turn the missing feature ON, associate with an edge on your screen, ALLOW docking, and turn OFF AutoHide
Click Apply, then OK
I'm having the same issue in ACAD 2011 and the above method isn't working. In 2010 it works fine, but I can't get it to display in 2011.
I can see that it's turned on in the View ribbon, and I have it set in CUI to Show: Yes, Orientation: Right, Allow Docking: Yes, and Auto Hide: Off. I'm in the correct workspace (the one where it's set in CUI).
I can use SHEETSET and SHEETSETHIDE, and even OPENSHEETSET and I get no errors, but it doesn't display the palette.
A user here is having the same trouble with AutoCAD Mechanical 2011. I went through all of the Workspaces and set the Sheet Set palette Show=Yes and set a size for the window (as some were set to 0) along with no transparency and it still does not show. I'm told it was working yesterday which leads me to believe that something else is affecting the Sheet Set palette from showing. Any help would be appreciated!
I just installed the 1.1 product update and the sheet set manager has returned! It wasn't one of the issues shown in the patch readme, but after the patch I am able to open sheet sets in 2011.
I'll post here if it disappears again.
