Saving Error

Hi all,

I appear to be getting a substantial number of error messages for AutoCAD since our office updated from Windows XP to Windows 7.

We all recieved this most times we try to save, but not every time. And after attempting 3 times with this error message, it’ll work on the fourth time…!

AutoCAD Message: “One or more objects in this drawing cannot be saved to the specified format. The operation was not completed and no file was created”

It’s not anything within the drawing as far as I can tell, I’ve run audit and purge through every drawing I’ve had this issue with. It also never happened with the same drawings, running the same AutoCAD version, on XP. And as mentioned previously, it doesn't happen every time.

If you have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Use the AUDIT command to repair your drawing. This should allow it to be saved. Try also using SAVEAS or even WBLOCK to a new file.
