Saving as Autocad only objects?

Hi

I am trying to overlay dwg format master map with existing gps point data of same location using ArcGIS software.The coordinate system is same (British Coordinate System) but is been open some where. My friend sent me dwg formate map,is there possibility of missing extension file during the time of saving from orinal format to dwg?

Any one can help me what's wrong?
