This is more a request for recommendation than a technical issue. I see a lot of useful-sounding LISPs on the internet for AutoCAD. But I also know LISPs can carry some gnarly viruses. Is there a safe site that people can recommend and agree on that will not risk a virus? The largest I've seen is
http://www.cadstudio.cz/download , but I don't know if it's safe or not.
If it's relevant, I'm operating AutoCAD 2010.
As far as I can say (being the webmaster of cadstudio.cz) the site is safe, including all the LISP utilities on www.cadstudio.cz/freeware
But maybe the others should judge this.
Of course also the Autodesk Exchange Apps site is a safe source of add-on tools.

Do you verify each download and lisp individually, or are they from 3rd party sites?
No, all LISP files there are our own (there are 3 or 4 exceptions but those are quite simple source LSP files - no harm can be hidden there).
