I have a sheet drawing with all my background xref'd into it.  How do I rotate the view in model space so it will show appropriatley in the sheet view in paper space?

If you are really sure that you want to rotate your model space objects, use the relative form of rotate.  After selecting objects and base point, select Relative, choose the direction you want to be 0 by picking 2 points with osnap on.  Enter 0 as the target angle.

Otherwise, if you just want to change your model coordinates, use the UCS z option and pick 2 points on a line to be 0 angle. Then use the PLAN command.

Otherwise, if you just want to change your viewport, use the ucs/plan sequence in a viewport.
