recovery

can any one tell me how to recover a drawing from auto save (I am in big trouble)

Hi,

 

you could try to start command _DRAWINGRECOVERY (details are >>>here<<<). If AutoCAD had a chance to recognize that it crashes you will find the drawings + links to autosaved files in this manager.

1. Find your autosaves

2. Rename the most recent .ac$ file to .dwg extention.

I think you mean SV$ (not AC$) :smileywink:

IMHO *.AC$ are never usable as DWG.
