Alright guys and gals,
First of all hi
So today when I got to work my autocad was acting EXTREAMLY slow. To select a line it took no less than 10 seconds. So I downloaded the updated driver with the same problem. Through a series of trial and error I narrowed the issue to my properties box, when it’s loaded a single line in a new drawing takes 10+ seconds to select and deselect. When I close the properties box everything works smooth as a babies butt. Does anyone know what little variable I need to switch to 1 or 0 to fix this problem. It has to be something like that because yesterday it worked fine.

With the same drawing and with opened property-window?
Does that happen in a new drawing with just one line (started with an original AutoCAD-template)?

Is this still an issue on your system?
I'm having the same problem.
It's not possible to work with the properties palette open (docked right and auto-hide). ~1sec delay when selecting any object.
Are you running any third-party applications on top of AutoCAD?
One thing you can try for troubleshooting is Process Monitor (free from Microsoft)
Filter for acad.exe (include) and you can watch the log to see what file or registry entry it might be pausing at when you select an object in the drawing with the properties window open.
Nope, nothing on top of Autocad. A few lisp routines, but none that run without being invoked.
And I typically only have Outlook & Excel (2007), Acrobat (8 Pro), DropBox, McAfee as other running programs.
Colton, I really don't mean to hijack your thread. Hopefully we can both use whatever solution is proposed.
