Problem with saving files.

Hello everybody,

I'm new here and I'm just using Autocad 2011 for few weeks. I use it  at school, without any problems when I have to save my file, but at home.. disaster..I always receive this message when I open autocad

I click: ok and it starts.

education suite.jpgThe problem is: when I have to save a file, the programme stops working, doesn't answer any commanmd and what i created new isn't saved.

At first, I deleted the programme and downloaded and installed it again.

Then I discovered, through  a forum, that there is a command: fidelia, setted on 1 (I can't save anything and autocad stops) and iif I set it on 0 I can save my file, but the command save in in aline, so I can't change the name.

Why I can't use normally ib a windoe?

please help me.

fo rme it's difficult to use the programme and to explain this sort of things in English.

Thanks a lot

Sonia

It is not possible to see your error message.

Reproduce the error to get that screen again.

On the keyboard hit ALT Print Screen, this will capture only the error dialog box to the Windows clipboard.

Open Microsoft Paint.

Ctrl V to paste the image into Paint.

Save the file as a *.png file and attach the new image here.

What version of AutoCAD are you using at school?

What version of AutoCAD are you using at home?

I attached it. may be i choise a too small size.

Both at school and at home I use 2011, but at hom I downloaded it through autodesk, at school I imagine it is a normal bought license.

Anyway, what you can see in the script, I think, doesn't create problems (maybe)

thanks

I don't think anything is wrong - that is just telling you that you are using Student License.

That's ok.

But the main problem is:

: when I have to save a file, the programme stops working, doesn't answer any commanmd and what i created new isn't saved.

At first, I deleted the programme and downloaded and installed it again.

Then I discovered, through  a forum, that there is a command: fidelia, setted on 1 (I can't save anything and autocad stops) and iif I set it on 0 I can save my file, but the command save in in aline, so I can't change the name.

Why I can't save normally and change the name?

Start over, and forget about that pop-up about your software.

What file are you opening and trying to save?
Where is this file located?
What are you using to select and rename the file?
More relevant screenshots might help us here.

PS: feel free to write in your native language too: there are many users here from all over the world that can help.

My answers in red

What file are you opening and trying to save?=

any .dwg files

Where is this file located? on the desktop or in a folder on the desktop

What are you using to select and rename the file? What do you mean? I do like this: File- save as: the programmes stops and ..Nothing doesn't save anything, if fidelia is setted on 1. i can't change the name of the file, I can't change any thing.

Instead I want

In the trird picture you can see what happens, whe filedia is set on 1 and I try to save.

Thanks

night
