Plot to pdf moved my hatch on drawing in AuotCad 2010 and windows 8.1

Hi,

In a rush, plotted drawings in pdf on the plotter choices, preview looked good. Drawings went to municipality. They called to ask why my grass hatch was in the middle of the parking lot.

For some reason, the pdf creation moved the hatch. This is not a new problem. I've had other pdf's have changes that aren't in the drawing and don't show up on the preview. You only see them once the pdf is printed.

Solution?

Thanks for your help!

Beth

Hi,

>> Solution?

No solution, just questions:

  • Does that only happen with one specific drawing? Or does that happen with a new drawing and a new hatch as well?
  • Does that only happen with a specific hatch pattern or with all patterns?
  • What driver or command did you use to create the PDF?
  • Can you show such a drawing + the PDF you got from that DWG?

It happened recently with one specific drawing. Of 3 layouts made into
pdf's, one was corrupted. It has happened in the past with other drawings
in which lines or blocks were moved out of position.

It is not one particular hatch, although in this case it was the hatch for
grass.

I created the pdf on the plot dialogue box by choosing. dwg to pdf pc3.

I do not have the files home with me this evening.

Thanks, Beth

Hi,

Next time try to use a third party printer like >>>PDFCreator<<< and see if it's then happening too.

Then we wait until the next evening 😉
