Not wanting to be left behind, I am forcing myselg to use Ribbons instead of Menu Bars.
I have my "Pickfirst" set to "1" and with the Command Line, I can pick an item before or after entering a command.
BUT, if I use a Ribbon, I must pick the item after the command.
How do I set the Ribbons to let me pick before or after a command?

The Ribbon is nothing more that a toolbar with 'placement' options other than a single row.
So start CUI command, indentify what command you are selecting and look the coding up in the commands list, then compare it to the menubar entry where all of this works: it probably has ^C^C coded in front of the command which basically cancels any running command /perhaps delsects everything before starting for you.
AutoCAd version? commands where this works in the menubar but not the ribbon?
Dean, thanks for your quick reply.
However, that proceedure is a whole lot of work for each command.
So, I won't be doing it.
It just seems weird that Pickfirst means nothing for the Ribbons, which are the "future".
Works just fine for Menu Bars, which are already the "past".
