Number, Letter, and Symbol Patterns

Hello,

I'm working on a project in which I would like to cut out some letters, numbers, and symbols with my CNC plasma cutter. I have AutoCAD 2012 Student Version and I was wondering if there was a way to do that on my .dwg file without drawing them out manually??? Is that a function of the program, or can I download them from some place with for instance different font styles and the like?

Hi,

when you have the ExpressTools installed (free part within AutoCAD) then you have a command _TXTEXP, that creates outlines from text-objects, which are based on true-type-fonts.
