AutoCAD 2010:

Is there a way to move an attribute position in a EXISTING block without exploding and redefining the block?

I can't move attributes in a block referance with block editor. I think there attribute lock feature but I

don't know how to use it to unlock an attribute in a  block.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

REFEDIT command, move what you need. REFCLOSE and save.

ATTSYNC afterwards to affect all other copies of the file.

If you are still having issues, post the block here.

I eventually want to use VBA to make attributes moveable in blocks but I have not had any luck with that.

I was using something like varAttribs(intI).LockPosition = False in VBA code but I have not had any luck.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
