Match properties

I have a drawing with exsisting multileaders in it

I am trying to apply the match properties to a newly created multileader but it isn't working.

Welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately, MATCHPROP for Multileaders didn't work right until AutoCAD2012, so if you're using 2011 or earlier, you'll have to edit (some) of the properties manually.

I am using ACAD 2013.

Is there a way to use the drawings and copy set the properties of all your drawings formats according to what is in the drawings. i.e text height etc.

OK good.  This is the 2010-12 forums, so assumed you were using one of those versions.

There are many ways to get Text Styles, Dimension Styles, Multileader Styles, etc into other drawings.

Design Center (CTRL+2) allows drag/drop from existing drawings into the current drawing

Copy/Paste an object from one drawing into another and the object's properties/style are imported as well.

Inserting a drawing into another drawing will import all the styles/layers

Create a template with the preferred settings and use it for all new drawings.

One thing to be cautious about however is if the drawing already contains the "style" the imported style will not overwrite the existing one.

There is a setting in your MATCHPROP command, please also check it.

Ensure tick the one at bottom right hand side.
