Isolating the layer not working.

Hello every one,

I am continuously having problem of a type at some drawings.

Whenever I isolate a particular layer than whole paper becomes blank for a particular layer.

But when I do the same on some other layer, than whole objects of the layer are isolated.

SO I wanted to know that what would be the specific layer property that let it happen.

I am not much into hide/thaw or freeze command.

Kindly help.

Sounds like your layer contains more that you desire: nothing more. Change the layers of these objects that you still want to see to another layer.

It sounds like when the "paper becomes blank" that you selected to isolate a layer which holds a block definition. But the linework which make the object, within the block, are on another layer. In this case the block layer would be isolated but the linework for the block object would be turned off.

In your other example, it works as expected with simple linework on a unique layer.
