Is there a tool to insert graphic scale into paper space w/Autocad 2012?

I keep seeing these graphic scale images in the drawings:

Is it something that I can insert from a tool in Autocad that will scale automatically with a viewport, or do I need to draw it myself (manually)?

You have to draw it manually.

Type TP at the command line. That should bring up the tool pallet. Click on the annotation tab and you should see a block for imperial grapic scale.

Click on that block and then insert it in the dwg. It is a dynamic block so when select it you can click on the arrow and choose the scale you want. You will have to manualy scale it to the size you need.

Appreciate it. Works great. Only if they connected it to the actual scale of the viewport 🙂 But otherwise works nicely.
