Hey everyone,
I use hyperlinks in my drawings to check spec sheets from the manufacturer. Well if I try to edit the hyperlink it will crash my computer and it does not matter how I approach this, whether I use the properties toolbar or try to just type "hyperlink". I am using AutoCAD 2010 and windows 7. Any help would be great.
P.S. As I was writing this out my AutoCAD was "searching/not responding", but has actually popped up the dialogue box for the hyperlink. I am not sure how to speed this process up, but I have about 400 of these to edit and I can't wait 10 minutes every time to adjust a hyperlink.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Randy Carminati

Do you have a utility called DrawingTabs loaded? Unload it, it's the problem.
if not, then try a more dramatic fix (redirecting the users Documents Folder to a Server Share): http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/CAD-Managers/HYPERLINK-command-Hangs/m-p/4963694#M86337 or http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-2010-2011-2012/Hyperlink-crash/m-p/3899958#M85359
