Hundreds of linetypes

What I only did was to insert an XREF, then hundreds of linetypes were loaded, I don't need them and it's very annoying trying to find out my linetypes in hundreds of them.

Can anyone help me?

Can you open the XREF and purge them out?
What version of AutoCAD is this?
Do the linetype names look like the first few as seen here?

If you can share with us your DWG (in ZIP format please) somebody can filter/purge/clean your "bad" DWG !?

Now I'm having the same problem but with AutoCAD 2015. Do you know how to get rid of hundreds of linetypes charged in my program?
