Before i start, i know i can this through the CUI by setting the workspace current. I dont want this as it resets the workspace everytime (without going into it, no staff members cant save there workspace) so is there anyway to just turn it on? similar to the 'menubar' command would be nice... thanks in advance for any help...
The Quick Access Toolbar (QAT)has been buggy from day one.
The trick I learned to get it back is:
1. Enter the command CUI
2. Right-click on the current Workspace and when the pop-up menu appears, select "Set Current" (even though it is already current)
This will give the Workspace a "nudge", and the QAT will then appear. This has always worked for me, don't know why
Appreicate the reply murray, but i think you missed the first sentence in my post indicating im looking for a method OTHER than the CUI. doing it from the CUI resets the workspace if it has been modified, and i dont want this.
Sorry guys, i should be more clear as i think the point of my post is being missed. Forget workspaces. Does anyone know of any other way to turn on the QAT??? IE: like the 'menubar' command it turns on only the menubar, you dont have to use a workspace to activate it. thanks all.
