how to change the color of an object according to another object

Hi

i want to change the color or the layer of one text object (Text A) according to another text (Text B). That is to say, if i change the color or the layer of the Text B, i want the Text A change the color or the layer also.

Is it possible to do this? thank you!

If two or more similar objects are to be displayed the same, then shouldn't they just be on the same layer to begin with?

Otherwise perhaps make them a GROUP.  (however changing the layer of one object in a group ultimately results in them all being on the same layer... thus same result as above)
