How do you eliminate this autoCAD notification?

Is there a way to eliminate this popup when opening drawings that were worked on in AutoCad 2011. The aecfileopenmessage does not apply to this popup for some reason.

Hopefully someone will come along with something else since you say AECFILEOPENMESSAGE has no effect.

Try with system variable "DWGCHECK" to 2

Unfortunately that doesn't do the trick the message continues to occur. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have tried dxfing out the drawing. Sometimes it works, you may have to got down to a later version of dxf. I haven't done it in a while. HTH
