My background color is set to black, but somehow on one particular drawing the color is now gray and the blocks I created using the solid command are now not solid. What could be the problem? please see the attached screen shot
Probably in 3D mode. Type the following commands:
UCS<Enter><Enter>PLAN<Enter><Enter>
Make sure you are not in the block edit mode.
The full command without shortcuts would be
UCS<Enter>World<Enter>PLAN<Enter>Current<Enter>
Can you paste into here what you command line looks like:
Command: ucs
Current ucs name: *WORLD*
Specify origin of UCS or [Face/NAmed/OBject/Previous/View/World/X/Y/Z/ZAxis] <World>:
Command: plan
Enter an option [Current ucs/Ucs/World] <Current>:
Regenerating model.
UCS WORLD only sets the UCS does not change the view
PLAN CURRENT then sets the plan view to match the UCS so that is the critical final step.
Block Edit mode is the BEDIT command.
If you look at OPTIONS > Display tab > Colors button. There are different background color settings for Block editor, 2D model space and 3D Parallel and 3D Perspective. You could set a different background for each to see which mode you are in.
