Having problem while attempting to change profile

I am using Autocad MEP 2010 and after a new installation when attemp to change default profile to my custom profile, I am facing ;

"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at e8d6a110h"

I have even tried to uninstall and reinstall the software as described in following forum ;

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=2887771&linkID=9240617

but I am still having the same problem.

Could anyone please help me ?

Regards

Where did this custom profile come from? Sounds like it is corrupt.

Presuming you are talking about an AutoCAD profile and not a Windows profile. If you followed the instructions in the link you posted, then how are you changing to this other profile - because that should have wiped everything related to the old install, including all profiles.
