Autocad 2011. Hatching crashes my autocad. I have been very disappointed with 2011 hatching. Is there a problem?

Do you realize this is the AutoCAD 2012 forum?

I have no problems hatching in AutoCAD 2011.

How about some details of YOUR problem and some computer specs?

Sounds like the hatch animation needs to be turned off to stop taxing the PC.

Why is it that I can't get my Solid hatch to print mostly transparent it just prints in solid black??

I don't know if this is something new in 2012, but if you change your hatch to a color that plots with a 10%-15% screening (or something else you prefer), it should plot "transparently" depending on your lines merge setting.
