hatch issue

when i try to open hatch on my computer with autocad 12 and 14. it trys to open a drawing from file then it crashes can someone help me please

Do you mean it crashes when you start HATCH command?
Does this happen in ALL files, or just one or a few?
Even if you start a new file?
Is this a new problem, or has always happened?

yes it craches in all files.  befroe it crashe sometimess it goes to the open new draing from the folder the drawing is kept in.  this problem is the same on both versions of cad im running on this computer.

Did you add or change a Hatch pattern recently?

Or open and do something inside the *.PAT file?

Though unless you are using the same PAT file for both Versions this would not affect across both the 2012 and 2014.

i have not it not juat crashes i have tried on a differnt drawing same issue

Custom or OOTB pattern?

Can you post a sample file that exiibits this behavior?

Have you tried to WBLOCK a file that is exhibiting this crash? AUDIT perhaps? Or RECOVER to open the File that crashed after it crashed?

its when i try a new hatch instead of opening the hatch panel it crashes

To me that sounds like a bad definition in the Hatch Pattern file but would be unusual across two versions.
