Hatch File location

On changing to a new computer with Win 7/AutoCAD 2010, I forget how to
direct Autocad to my old hatch file that includes my files produced
several years ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go back to your old computer and do a search for *.pat files.

Thanks Paul,

My separately customized hatches were there, but the older modified
ACAD.pat was not. I see now that in Win 7, the User Applications have
both Local & Roaming. AutoDesk is set up with Support in both of these
Sub-folders.

The Acad.PAT was in the Roaming folder but somewhere within AutoCAD I
must have set it to look for ACADISO ( I cannot find out where).

When I had copied it to the correct Support area, the Win 7 (the
'improved' Windows Explorer) tries to second guess you and named the
copied file as Acadiso(2).pat rather than replacing the original.

Everything OK now.

Thanks again
Hans
