Hatch extension

hi, This is nagapushpa. Is there any command to extend the hatch in AutoCAD 2011. I find to difficult to extend the hatch by selecting the hatch and dragging the mouse.

For easy manipulate hatch with grips, Hatch must be Non-associative hatch patterns.

for that from Hatch edit dialogue uncheck associative box from option tab.

There is no way to extend the hatch without selecting some sort of object.

You either make the hatch non-associative in which case you can use the hatch grips to extend it OR

You make the hatch associative in which case when you change the object the hatch is associated with the hatch will change.
