Getting a straight on 3D view

Hi,

I have a part rendered in 3D that I need to take measurements of, and the simplest way that I've found is to do a flatshot and get them off of that. The problem that I'm having is that in all the 3D viewpoints of it, there is always some realistic parallax of the part. In that looking straight on, I see the side walls of holes when i should be looking straight through them and theres basically a convergence point to the way I'm looking at it.

I'm needing to see this straight on to test for measurements and fit with components. Any ideas how I can fix this so I can take accurate flatshots again?

You're probably in a PERSPECTIVE view, if you are, switch to Parallel, and avoid clicking on the "Home" icon on the ViewCube, because that automatically tosses you back to Perspective. (hint; right click on the ViewCube to change Perspective)

Is there any geometry (a hole would be good, a planar face even better) that you can reset the UCS on and then set the view to the current UCS?

Can you attach the file here?

Resetting the UCS wasn't the issue. It turns out I was in perspective view and not in parallel view. Thanks though.
