Fractions Display Incorrectly

Hello All,

I just recieved a .dwg from an outside source and when I open it, all my fractions are shown in some funny coding.  "2'-1Ð"%%P"  is one example.

I think Im missing a plugin or something.  Can you guys help me out?  I am currently using AutoCAD2012

Ask the sender to use Etransmit, that way all the fonts that used in the drawing will be send to you.

What exactly do you mean by Etransit?

You are missing a font file from the originator that has been defined with special chars.

ETransmit (find it in the FILE pulldown) will collect all the fonts/xrefs ... etc that were used in the drawing and package it all neatly into a zip file that (s)he can send you that will have all the missing font files.

Keep in mind you will prolly need to install the font file (assuming TTF) thru windows before it is available. SHX you can just drop into the ACAD font dir.

Regards,

DJ
