Find and Replace - want to save the text from the list

I am using the "find and replace" to check all of the components I have labeled on my drawing.  (they are labeled with single line text).  This command works great at finding all of my text labels but I can't seem to copy or save this list.  Although the list can be highlighted, CTRL + C to CTRL+V doesn't work.  Does anyone have an idea on how to make a list from the text that is one a drawing?  Any help appreciated.
