We have both 2012 and 2013 AutoCAD at work, and both versions are having the same problem. When adding favorites in Design Center, it does not show up. The shortcut is actually there if I browse using Windows Explorer, but it does not show up in Design Center. I guess this is some issue where shortcuts do not show up, which is beyond me because that is how the Favorites system is supposed to work.
I should add, this is not an issue on some of our older machines running AutoCAD 2009.
Can someone tell me how to get around this annoying issue?
Which display type are you using? [Large Icons, Small Icons, List, Details] Large icons don't work in AutoCAD 2012 and 2013. Shortcuts display random or no icon images in Large Icon display type.
Hitting F5 in design center might work to bring new shortcuts in.
Make sure the folder list is displayed as well.
I'm using LIST like you specified, still not showing up. F5 (refresh) does nothing. Screenshot attached to show that I have shortcuts in Windows Explorer but nothing in Design Center.
Come on Autodesk fix this stupid bug!
