Entire drawing erased after editing title block

I got a strange error message after make a change to the title block after saving

FATAL ERROR:  Unhandled Access Violation Writing 0x00bc Exception at f16a7d9eh

Opened it up again, everything is gone. 3 hours of work gone.

Size of file 67kb, size of a brand new drawing is 69kb

The size of the .bak is 67kb.

The size of the old file before this happened was 97kb

Really?

Could someone help me recover this? Thanks

Here is the file.

97k isn't much for "3-hours of work": I see you draw in paperspace (or at least that's where a drawing and titleblock existi in your small file. Is that what you are looking for?

AutoCAD version? You edited the titleblock how, using what command?

What size is your autosave file? SV$ is the extension, usually dropped in your Windows Profile Temp folder.

I am a novice in autocad, took a course, still learning though. Sorry, 97k was the size of the file that was in my temp folder. I found it by searching .bak. It has the majority, but still missing quite abit. I managed to re-create most of the stuff that was missing. I couldn't find any SV$ or of the sorts. Perhaps in a different location?

Thank you

Maybe you don't have autosave turned on.
