DXF Conversion

Hi All

I was asked to take a DXF drawing and convert it to one of the following formats

  • GCD
  • PT4
  • MX2
  • MX3
  • CAM

Is this possible? If so, how?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Open .dxf with Autocad, save it as .STL

Then use a different program to create toolpath and save as .cam, .gcd......

Autocad can't save to the files you mentioned directly.

Are there any free programs I can use to do this?

Thanks again,

Jeremy

Try Freemill, it's free but it doesn't give you too much options with making tool path.

Vectric is better but it's not free.
