Drawings won't show Japanese text

I have a drawings that will open in Trueview 2012 on Win7 and AutoCAD 2000 on XP that will show up correctly. But with AutoCad 2012 on Win7 it will not show the Japanese. See attached

You need copy the original SHX file used in AutoCAD 2000 to new computer.

If the file cannot find the SHX file, it will use another font to replace it and may cause some problem.

agree on 3 wood's suggestion. you should check if you have the proper shx font in the Win 7 machine.  you can copy all the fonts in the Xp machine to the Win 7.
