Doughnut viewports

Hi all,

I'd like to know if there is a way to create a viewport with a hole in the centre.  If this is possible, how would I go about it?

Thanks,

James

It is possible.

You can either make a "C" shaped viewport and make the gap as smaller as possible as shown below, or create a circular viewport and put a smaller circular wipeout (polygon shaped) at the center of it.

Hi,

another option:

  • create 2 circles
  • start command _REGION and convert these 2 circles to regions
  • start command _SUBTRACT, select the outer one, then <ENTER> and now select the inner region to subtract it from the outer one
  • result is what I hope you where looking for.
