Double Click to edit

2010 Full version. My right click edit as far as text, polylines, blocks etc no longer works. What have I done? When I try to double click something to edit it, just pulls up the quick properties pallet.

Enter DBLCLKEDIT at the command line.

Command: DBLCLKEDIT
Enter new value for DBLCLKEDIT <current>:

If current indicates OFF, enter ON or 1 to turn it on.

If current indicates ON, then we have to look for some other cause.

Thanks a million buddy, that fixed it, it was driving me crazy, and of all days for it to screw up, I have an impossible deadline today.
