Customization file load failed

Hello,

I just got a new computer, and everytime I open autoCAD, it says "Customization file load failed: File not found: VLTDUMMY "

Hello,

This is usually a symptom of AutoCAD not being installed correctly. Usually either Anti-virus was running during installation or the UAC settings were not turned off. Here is a link for the Recommended uninstall and reinstall procedures for AutoCAD. It goes through the steps to get things working starting with repairing the current installation.

Since this is a new computer, is it running Windows 8? If yes, you might be running into incompatibility issues. AutoCAD Mechanical OS compatibility.

This also keeps happening when I close drawings. It switches to the layout view and says to “enter name of customization file to load”. Down in the command line it says “undefined shape 99 & 68”

Not yet, I have to have the IT handle it since I don't have administrative rights.
