Contour lines

I have some old topo surveys that were done in LDD 2005 and when I open them in ADACL 2010 they come through as right angle lines - no slopes or curves. I'd like to be able to use them in ACADLT 2010 but so far no luck.

Are the contour lines polylines or LDT objects that you can see because you have the object enabler installed?

I am not sure - it says they are AutoCAD Proxy Entities - attached is a pdf
of how they show up on the screen when you open the drawing. I get other
surveys from other surveyors and don't have this issue but I do with this
one fellow. I need to get this figured out and am not sure how to move
forward. Thanks for your interest in my problem - hope you have a solution.

Sounds like they are LDT objects. Does this supplier of the DWG files still have Land Desktop? If so, they can explode the objects down to polylines, and increase the smoothing before doing so.
