Combine Layer Filter

Does anyone know of a way to "combine two layer filters"?  Meaning that I have a bunch of layer filters in my dwg file.  I want to display all layers that meet the criteria of two filters.

Example:  Filter 1 = All XREF Layers & Filter 2 = All Frozen/Off Layers

Would display all layers that are in an XRef AND are either frozen or turned off.

TIA!

AFAIK, you'll have to create another filter with the desired properties as a sub filter under the main one.

ok thanks anyway.  I knew about nesting the filters but our template has about 20 or so filters and there are MANY different combinations of the various filters that we'd like to show layers from.

To try and create nested filters for every combination that we'd want to use would create a real mess.  I'm currently trying to find a way to access the filters via autolisp.  Once I'm able to do that, I'm hopeful to be able to make my own dialog that does what we want.
