There's got to be a way...I just haven't been able to find it yet.
I don't need/use the wcs/ucs icon, and also find annoying the wcs icon at the upper right hand corner of my screen (annoying...(yes this isn't a major problem in my life...I'd just like to remove it.
So, s there a way, by default, to turn off the icon? If not is there a way to turn off the icon on an idividual sheet and then use that sheet as a templete file sheet?
Nothing personal with the icon....I just don't need it and would to delete it on my system until I find that I need it.

Just kill the UCS bit? Right click the ViewCube, pick ViewCube Settings... and turn off the Show UCS menu toggle.
Lose the whole ViewCube? See the ViewCube section of this blog post: http://www.blog.cadnauseam.com/2011/04/14/autocad-
AutoCAD usually has several places to go to accomplish most anything.
For the View Cube, at the top of your screen, click "View".
Then near the right, click "User Interface".
Click on "View Cube" to add or remove from your screen.
