can i reference some values next to the main draw (to make fast bill of steel)

Hi,

I have some idea to make really easy and fast bill of steel.

I know it can be very difficult,is it even possible to do it??

1. So - i have a beam, and i want to make fast bill of steel ( autocad lt)

My beam looks[(beam.jpg) pdf version sorry].

2. All steel are ejected and looks like (beam1.jpg)

3. I wish make some table, so when i make bill of steel i dont have to look all over the drawing, simply i can just type without seeking.... (beam2.jpg)

4. i can only make reference to length, but i need also diameter, steel, quantity, and number....

I am using reference as INSERT FIELDS....

My question is - is it possible to reference diameter, steel, quantity, number, lenght to the table - for me just simply type to the excel everything what i need without looking on the drawing?

I am using insert field to the length, but can i do it to diameter, steel, quantity and number? Or can i do it by other way?

I hope i explain everything...
