I have recently come across a company that runs an illegal version of AutoCAD on all of its computers. The IT department simply downloads a bootlegged copy off of the internet and distributes it to the members of the company. This type of conduct is unethical and I believe that Autodesk should seek legal action.
Sounds to me like "recently fired" from a company....
Revenge motivation perhaps??
Perhaps, but the motivation for reporting is irrelevant if the company is indeed using pirated software.
Thanks for your help everyone. For those that think it's revenge, I never worked for the company, I just happen to know of what is going on and tried to do the right thing.
