When launching Autocad 2012, erroe messages come up about several missing dll files. After retrieving and installing the missing files from the net, a fatal error 0x0000 mesaage comes up. Any solutions for this? Thank you, Jon

If you have just copied files then it would not work (or you must have been extremly lucky).
Do a repair-installation, that should bring your installation to life. If not you could look into the log-file of the installation what happened.

Thanks for the replies. There are a few trusted sites who cache dll files, and have them availabe for download. I then placed them in the folder that ACAD retrives from. Once the missing dll files were added, the program did not ask for them again, but gave the fatal error message. (See attachment). I have run a repair, un-installed the program, installed .net framework 4, installed directX reinstalled, all to no avail. I have run ACAD 2010 on the same system with not a single problem. Maybe I'm miisng something. Thanks again for the replies, I'll try your suggestions. Jon
if the last action was either install or repair then you can try to login to your Windows with another account and try if AutoCAD starts now.
If that also does not work, it will get more hard, first to follow the steps for "clean uninstall" recommended by Autodesk >>>here<<<.
Good luck, - alfred -
